She likes being dressed cleanly, and in a manner that compliments her features. When she is on horseback she is usually in breeches and boots. Most of the jewelry that she wears is all custom, and crafted by herself. As for her make up she usually goes for a neutral, and natural look, as she doesn't like to look too gaudy. II. FLOWERS - Like most girls, Evelyn loves flowers. She adores fresh cut flowers, and every year at her birthday, her father gives her a single pink rose as a traditional gift. She received great comfort after the news of her brother’s death when her father, while deployed to Israel sent her blossoms from a Balm of Gilead tree. Her love of flowers has also been of great help to her in her Herbology class.
III. CHOIR - While at home, Evelyn participates in her church choir. She enjoys singing in the choir as it helps her release emotions in a sense through music. Despite having to sing at her brother’s funeral, it helped for her to have closure in this manner to have literally sung a farewell.
IV. CARE OF MAGICAL CREATURES - Hands down, Evelyn’s best class at Hogwarts was Care of Magical Creatures. She was already that child that brought home stray animals whens he was younger, and being introduced to magical creatures blew her mind. She loves unicorns and winged horses, and she made it a lifelong goal to protect them and possible work with them as a career.
V.FLYING – The most amazing feeling in the world to Evelyn. She first took to the skies in a fighter jet with her father, and then later on a broomstick in Hogwarts. It was then that she felt what it was like to be truly free.
VI. HORSES – Evelyn grew up around horses, and she associates horses with her grandparents who she goes to see in the summer and over the Christmas holidays. Before she knew what it was like to ride a broomstick, she felt the sensation of pure freedom and flight riding on the back of a horse. Evelyn is also the heir to her grandparents’ horse farm in Kentucky. While she was in hiding during the second wizarding war she stayed in Kentucky with her grandparents and took care of the horses on their farm.
VII. FAIRYTALES – As a child, Evelyn’s brothers or her father, read her fairytales right before bedtime. They taught her that monsters do exist, but that it’s always possible to triumph over them. It reminds her of how her father is such a hero. Evelyn has a love of fairy tale romances and in times of stress she has a habit of reading stories like Rapunzel, and Cinderella to help herself find refuge in these worlds of fantasy.
VIII. CRAFTING JEWELRY – As a seven year old, Evelyn picked up a hobby of crafting beaded jewelry, and discovered that she was really good at it. By the time she turned ten years old she had transitioned from beaded jewelry to using precious metals, and cut semi-precious stones. As a teen Evelyn learned how to use welding tools to work with molds and precious metals. She sold them over the summer holidays from Hogwarts for some pocket money. Most of her jewelry is handmade by herself. She still sells her handmade jewelry for extra income.
IX. SHOW JUMPING – Show jumping is Evelyn’s riding discipline of choice. It gives her the feeling of flying and that is why she loves it so much. When she was younger she used to compete amongst other children her age, but as a teen she only practiced over the holidays at her grandparents’ horse farm.
X. HIGH FASHION – Evelyn’s mother is a fashion designer, so she has a natural love of clothes. She loves putting outfits together, and she likes getting the latest styles. Evelyn does prefer muggle fashion over wizarding fashion though, but she does have a love of the Victorian style that the magical world seems to have going on.

II. PANTS - Evelyn really only wears pants or shorts when she has to. She does like wearing breeches, or leggings, but she would rather not wear pants. She has never really liked pants, but she wears them when she has to.
III. CURED MEAT - Evelyn is sensitive to salt, so foods like corned beef, ham, and bacon cause her body to retain water and appear bloated. She therefore doesn’t like these foods, and their salty taste.
IV. ANIMAL ABUSE - After once befriending a neglected horse, Evelyn discovered that she had never been so angry with anyone before. She couldn’t understand why the owners of the horse, who had the money to keep him wouldn’t do the things necessary to care for the animal. Evelyn hates people who abuse or neglect their animals strongly.
V. LIP GLOSS – Evelyn dislikes how lip gloss feels like honey on her lips without the delightful sweet taste. She also doesn’t enjoy how this cosmetic is a magnet for her hair. Evelyn doesn’t like how her hair sticks to her lips when she puts on lip gloss, it is for this reason that she resorts to lipstain or lipstick instead.
VI. CONFINEMENT – After experiencing the joys of borrowing freedom on horseback or on a broomstick, Evelyn dislikes having to be on the ground or not being allowed to fly like she wishes. She also dislikes boundaries that would be put before her because she is a muggleborn.
VII. SPIDERS – As a little girl, Evelyn’s brother, Aaron, dropped a spider on her face while she was napping on the couch. She has since avoided spiders like the plague. Evelyn also has an involuntary shudder response to pictures of spiders or seeing them in her common room or dormitory.
VIII. BEING BULLIED – As a muggleborn, Evelyn has been subjected to poor treatment from some other students. Especially older students from Slytherin house. Of course she got picked on didn’t like it.
IX. THE DARK ARTS – Since Evelyn has a strong sense of right and wrong, she believes that anyone who uses magic to kill, or terrorize people is wrong. After learning about the Unforgivable Curses she dislikes the Dark Arts even more, to rob a person of their agency or ability to choose is evil to her.
X. SNOBBY EQUESTRIANS – Sometimes Evelyn is given an attitude by other people who ride horses. It’s just something that irritates her, and she does her best to ignore it when she does encounter them.

She takes pride in their accomplishments, often making new goals along with her general long-term ideals, so she is always setting goals for herself and making sure she feels successful in life.
Always looking on the bright side of things, Evelyn tends to see the glass as half full. She uses this mindset to give comfort to those around her. Even when things seem dark she always seems to keep hope. She tries really hard to help her friends see sunshine in almost any situation. Evelyn loves the idea of seeing new things, and trying new riding disciplines. Adventure becomes her, she is always looking for new and interesting ways to feel free and beautiful. She has attention span problems, as she does not always find academics to her liking, and may space out thinking of things that concern her, rather than paying attention to what she needs to know. This problem has increased since her older brother’s death.
She prefers not to talk about her living situation. Sometimes she deflects questions about herself, as she would rather not be seen as emotionally vulnerable. She loves to look good. Evelyn does put effort into her appearance, she puts time into looking good for the day. She tends to be a good emotional absorbent, meaning she can take in all that you are feeling, positive and negative, and understand it. If Evelyn likes you, which is commonly true she will give you the benefit of the doubt, she will be empathetic and try to use this to help you. If, for some reason, you betray or upset her, do not think that she will just go sulk, this is simply how her darker and more negative side comes out. She knows all your strengths and weaknesses, and she kept them in storage in her kindness, but once you've ripped away her good nature, she will use those weaknesses against you, picking at that scab in your mind.

born: She was born in Hellenikon Air Base, Athens, Greece. When not in Hogwarts, Evelyn lives in Mildenhall, Suffolk, England.
overall history: Evelyn was the sixth and final child born to Nathan and Jenna Churchill. Evelyn was born in Hellenkion Air Base, in Athens, Greece. Nathan was, at the time, a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force, and her mother, a homemaker. Shortly after her birth, Evelyn and her family moved to Suffolk, England, where her father was permanently stationed and later promoted to the office of colonel. Evelyn grew up like any other little girl, and dealt with just about everything any child would experience. She adored her father and always anxiously awaited his return home. Also like any other kid, she had her fair share of bullies, who were all scared off by her big brothers Ian, Matthew, Elijah, Jacob and Aaron. When Evelyn was 8 years old, her father was promoted to the office of Colonel.
When she was about 9 years old she began to exhibit some odd behavior. When she was being picked on by a boy over her pigtails, she grew angry and for some odd reason he tripped, without any logical explanation. There were other instances that could not be explained by her parents or her brothers. Also while she stayed with her grandparents one summer, it seemed that the horses on the farm did her bidding, including letting her ride them without saddles or bridles. These were things that really concerned Evelyn's parents and they did end up attempting to console her while she was crying over her unexplained behavior. She was honestly scared, that was when her father helped her muster what courage she had to firmly believe that her behavior was not her fault.
Then at around her 11th birthday, Evelyn received a curious letter. It was an acceptance letter to a strange place called Hogwarts. When Evelyn's family registered that she was a witch, the first to hold Evelyn and say how cool that was was Elijah. Soon after her parents and the rest of her brothers went ahead and embraced her. It was her father that went with Evelyn to get her school supplies. After Evelyn was all sorted and attending her classes, she was soon quite homesick. Evelyn had made it a habit to write to her family often. She was now really fending for herself, especially against the notorious Slytherin pureblooded elitists. She also got pretty good grades in her classes, with Herbology, Charms, Potions and Transfiguration being her initial best classes. When she could take any electives, she took up Care of Magical Creatures and Ancient Runes, only to do really well in Care of Magical Creatures, and mediocre at best in Ancient Runes.
In her third year she experienced her first real school trauma. In Defense Against the Dark Arts, a class that she did fairly well in, there was an exercise with a boggart. Several students went before her, and the creature turned into various things, snakes, spiders, clowns, and then it was her turn. When she faced the boggart it turned first into a polished oak casket with that very familiar star spangled banner draped over it, then it changed again into a sight that the other students wouldn’t quite understand. It was the sky, with jets flying in a peculiar pattern, but Evelyn knew it as the ‘missing man formation’. She lost her composure and ran out of the classroom crying. She had been teased for weeks over that incident, crying over a boggart.
Evelyn went through Hogwarts while always being informed of things that had been going on in her family. She got note of her brother Ian going overseas for his service in the Navy, her twin brothers Matthew and Elijah enlisting into the marines, and Jacob getting into veterinarian school in UC Davis for their prestigious veterinary science program. She also got note of Aaron’s decision to join the Navy as well. With all the stress of their father in the military they all still had a sense of duty, and decided to follow in their father’s footsteps.

Evelyn had spent several hours in an empty Room of Requirement practicing her patronus charm. She was mighty surprised to see that when she conjured it that it sang, like a robin, and it actually took the form of a robin. What a cute patronus. At least she finally got to conjure one, it took a rough shape, but it was a patronus. Being happy with her accomplishment, Evelyn decided that it was time to go do some studying in the Library. She put her wand away into her messenger bag and began to head to the third floor, where the library was located. Evelyn still had a few hours before curfew, and it could be useful to get in some time in the library.
Sure, it was unusual for a Gryffindor to be spending so much time alone, and Evelyn was beginning to think that maybe the Sorting Hat was wrong. However, she'd only been like this since December, and well, she was under stress. To Evelyn, it seemed that her problems were better off hidden behind her usual smile. Her thoughts were always on her family, hoping that they were all safe. It didn't help that she heard that her older brother was to be enlisting into the army. Now the majority of her siblings were in the military, in an attempt to follow their father's footsteps. However, sometimes when Evelyn thought about it, she thought it was better that they were in whatever boot camps that they were at, especially with all the things happening in the magical world. She still couldn't believe that she actually did breakdown in the Great Hall back when she got the letter, but at least she ran out of there before anyone saw.
When she walked into the library she had noted that there still very few people here. She was not surprised to see Hermione there, it seemed like her fellow muggleborn friend practically lived in the library. Evelyn saw nothing wrong with that though. Once she got a better look at her friend she noted that she looked stressed. “Is this seat taken, Hermione?” she asked gesturing to the empty seat at her table. Fussing with the bracelets on her wrist she made sure that her yellow wrap charm bracelet was still there as she waited for an answer.
